Job summary

TRUNO seeks a POS Field Service Technician to service customer sites within the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware, printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, documenting every step thoroughly.

Travel up to 150 miles with limited overnight stays, maintain up-to-date spare parts inventory, and provide preventative maintenance. Strong customer service and professional conduct are essential for success at TRUNO.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office is required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly with clear, detailed updates.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team in a positive, understandable manner.
• Maintain ability to work regular hours and after-hours when needed.
• Travel within ~150 miles with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools during duties as needed.
• Provide preventative maintenance to in-store POS equipment and related hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
