Job summary

TRUNO is hiring a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across their territory, troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network gear. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work thoroughly, and maintain inventory and company assets.

Travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnight stays are expected. Preferred candidates have an Associates degree in IT or related field and 1 year of tech service experience, strong

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in IT or related field.
• 1 year technology service experience preferred.
• Windows and Microsoft Office familiarity required.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ or Industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and Truno teams.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within approximately 150 miles with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools for service tasks.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS and related hardware.
• Configure software/hardware, installs, and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment sold and supported.
