Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests for customer sites in the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, while maintaining inventory and documentation.

The role requires travel within ~150 miles, after-hours availability, and strong customer service. Associates degree in IT or related field is preferred; CompTIA certs are a plus; experience with

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly; document details and parts used.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team in a positive, clear manner.
• Work regular hours and be available for after-hours needs as required.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius; limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use common hand tools and basic test equipment during duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance for POS and related hardware.
• Configure software/hardware, installs and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct; meet deadlines and policies.
• Maintain company vehicle, credit card, and fleet resources.
