Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond quickly to service requests at customer sites in the assigned territory, troubleshoot and repair POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment. The role requires maintaining accurate spare parts inventory and thorough documentation.

The position requires after-hours availability, strong communication, and the ability to travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; relevant IT/technical field accepted.
• Minimum 1 year tech service experience; retail preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details and parts used.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally.
• Travel within ~150 miles; occasional overnight stays when needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
