Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to promptly respond to service requests across the assigned territory, ensuring diagnostics, repair, and testing of POS hardware and related equipment.

You will maintain inventory, document actions accurately, travel as needed (within ~150 miles), and perform software/hardware installs and upgrades while upholding confidentiality and company policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Electronics/technology hardware experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details with comprehensive notes.
• Interact positively with store personnel and Truno team.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius and occasional overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware, printers, scales, wrappers, and network gear.
• Perform basic software/hardware configuration, installs and upgrades.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
