Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across a defined territory. You will troubleshoot and repair in-store POS equipment, laser printers, scales, and related hardware, while keeping detailed records and maintaining inventory.

You must travel within a 150-mile radius, with occasional overnight stays, and provide after-hours support when needed. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred).
• Customer service orientation is essential.
• Ability to use common hand tools and basic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS and additional hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
