Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory, diagnosing hardware issues and performing repairs to ensure proper operation of POS systems and related devices.

You will maintain spare parts inventory and document actions accurately, travel as needed within a 150‑mile radius, and support after-hours service. Strong communication with store personnel and the TRUNO team is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technology service (Preferred).
• Prior retail experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely, keep customer updated, ensure documentation is accurate with details and proper part accounting.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team in a positive, understandable manner.
• Maintain regular hours, with after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within typically a 150-mile radius, limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment for proper functionality.
