Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to service customer sites across the assigned territory, diagnosing, repairing, and testing POS hardware and related devices. You will document all work and maintain accurate inventory levels of spare parts.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to travel within a 150-mile radius, and willingness to work after hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technology service preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Exceptional customer service orientation required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to travel within 150 miles, occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Maintain regular working hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment for proper functionality.
• Perform basic configuration of software/hardware and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment with accurate records.
• Adhere to deadlines and company policies.
