Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely responses to service requests across the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware along with related equipment, while maintaining inventory and thorough documentation.

You will travel within a 150-mile radius, provide after-hours support when needed, and work with store personnel and the Truno team to deliver dependable service. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details accurately.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and Truno team.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools and equipment as part of daily duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance for POS and related hardware.
• Perform software/hardware configuration, installs and upgrades as needed.
• Stay organized and maintain confidentiality.
