Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests, troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store POS hardware and related equipment. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation, and work with store personnel to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to travel within a 150-mile radius, and to work with standard software and tools. An Associates degree is preferred, and familiarity with Windows and Office is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in IT or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details.
• Interact with store personnel in a positive manner.
• Occasional after-hours travel and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related equipment.
• Use basic tools and perform basic configuration and installs.
