Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely responses to service requests across assigned territories. You will troubleshoot, repair and test POS hardware and related devices, while maintaining accurate records and inventory.

The role requires hardware familiarity, strong customer service, and the ability to travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnight stays. Full-time employment with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details thoroughly.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and Truno team.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic hand tools and test equipment as required.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices.
• Install/configure software and hardware upgrades as needed.
• Stay organized, prepared, and professional in appearance and conduct.
• Protect confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
