Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to service customer sites in the assigned territory. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot hardware, and ensure thorough testing and documentation of work performed.

The role requires ability to travel, hands-on hardware experience, and strong communication with store personnel. This full-time position offers benefits and the chance to work with a broad range of POS and related hardware.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with Windows and MS Office.
• Experience with electronics/tech hardware preferred.
• Retail service experience preferred and able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team clearly and professionally.
• Maintain regular hours with after-hours availability as needed.
• Travel within ~150 miles and limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test equipment.
• Use tools including basic power tools for servicing.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related tech.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Meet deadlines and manage company resources responsibly.
• Maintain product knowledge of equipment sold and supported.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
