Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across assigned territory, troubleshoot and repair in-store POS hardware and related equipment, and document work thoroughly.

The role requires customer service focus, ability to travel within a 150-mile radius, and strong hardware/software diagnostic skills. Associates degree preferred; CompTIA certs preferred; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred in IT or related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and TRUNO teams.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store POS equipment and related hardware.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware, printers, scales, and network gear.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and company assets; ensure confidentiality.
• Stay current on product knowledge for equipment in the service territory.
