Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely response to service requests for customer sites in the assigned territory.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware, laser printers, scales, wrappers, and network equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. Travel within 150 miles and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technology service (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required).
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details accurately.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius, limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
• Use basic power tools and standard test equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related devices.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
