Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond quickly to service requests for customer sites in the assigned territory. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware, printers, scales, wrappers and network gear while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.

This role requires strong customer service, ability to travel up to 150 miles, after-hours availability, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field (Preferred)
• At least 1 year of technology service experience (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office (Required)
• CompTIA A+ Certification (Preferred)
• CompTIA Network+ Certification (Preferred)
• Industry-Specific Certifications (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed
• Willing to travel within 150 miles with limited overnight travel
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment
• Use tools including basic power tools in performance of duties
• Provide preventative maintenance to POS hardware and related equipment
• Perform basic software/hardware configuration and installs/upgrades
• Maintain confidentiality and company policy compliance
• Maintain inventory and keep records up to date
• Stay current on equipment knowledge for territory
