Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions in California is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory, troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware and related equipment.

You will maintain inventory, document activities, travel within a 150-mile radius as needed, and provide after-hours support. A background in IT, Windows, and basic tools is preferred, with CompTIA certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Windows and Microsoft Office experience required.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
• Experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and TRUNO team.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform basic configuration, installs and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts/equipment and keep records accurate.
• Protect confidential information and adhere to company policies.
