Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm, seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support to Senior Regional Managers across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, strong organizational and analytical skills, and working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs, plus proficiency in Yardi/RealPage and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Working knowledge of Affordable programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Yardi, RealPage) to extract and analyze data.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Support documentation and coordination for capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and budget variance reporting.
• Collaborate with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure accurate financials and timely AP/AR support.
• Collect, review, and analyze historical income and expense data for properties.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions and prepare presentations.
