Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm, seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative and analytical support to Senior Regional Managers across multiple states. The role focuses on reducing administrative burden, improving operational efficiency, and supporting key portfolio initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in property management, familiarity with LIHTC/HUD/Section 8, and strong Excel and data reporting capabilities. Travel about 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Support documentation and coordination for capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and budget variance reporting.
• Collaborate with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure accurate financials; support accounts payable/receivable.
• Collect, review, and analyze historical income and expense data for properties.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for the portfolio.
• Identify trends, variances, and performance drivers; elevate insights to leadership.
• Gather and analyze market data, including rent comparables and local trends.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and external partners to support understanding of asset performance.
• Support internal projects and portfolio-wide initiatives.
• Assist with rollout of new programs, processes, and operational improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support portfolio operations and evolving business needs
• Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
• Prepare, submit, expense reports accurately and timely.
