Fairstead is seeking a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level admin, operational, and analytical support to Senior Regional Managers across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio.

The role emphasizes reducing administrative burden, enhancing efficiency, and partnering with finance, property teams, and leadership. 1–3 years in property management is preferred, with LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 familiarity and strong Excel/data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management, with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 familiarity encouraged.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Yardi, RealPage), with ability to extract and analyze data.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel; ability to prepare reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and reporting; support accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Prepare property performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and support due diligence for acquisitions.
• Coordinate travel and meetings; maintain organized records for the portfolio.
• Identify trends and provide insights to leadership; collaborate with regional managers on reporting.
