Job summary

Fairstead seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio. The role focuses on reducing administrative burden, enhancing efficiency, and supporting critical initiatives with Senior Regional Managers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, familiarity with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Experience with affordable housing programs like LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 encouraged.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Yardi, RealPage) for data extraction and analysis.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and variance reporting.
• Prepare and analyze periodic property performance reports.
• Support due diligence for property acquisitions and rollout of new programs and processes.
• Coordinate travel and manage documentation for portfolio operations.
