Fairstead, a nationwide affordable housing leader, seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support to Senior Regional Managers and their teams across multi-state portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, proficiency in Yardi/RealPage, and strong Excel skills to drive accurate financials and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Familiarity with Affordable programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 encouraged.
• Proficiency in property management systems to extract and analyze data.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Support documentation and coordination for capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and budget variance reporting.
• Collaborate with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure accurate financials, including accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Collect, review, and analyze historical income and expense data for properties.
• Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for the portfolio.
• Identify trends, variances, and performance drivers; elevate insights to leadership.
• Gather and analyze market data, including rent comparables and local trends.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to support understanding of asset performance.
• Support internal projects and portfolio-wide initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage travel arrangements and expense reports.
