Job summary

Fairstead seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support to Senior Regional Managers and their teams across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, with knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8, and strong Excel and data reporting skills to improve efficiency and drive insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property management experience.
• Familiar with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs.
• Proficient in Excel and data reporting.
• Experience with property management systems (Yardi, RealPage).

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support to Senior Regional Managers and teams.
• Support capital projects and large renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and variance reporting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Gather and analyze market data, including rent comps and local trends.
• Coordinate travel and expense reports.
