Fairstead in Washington, DC seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio. The role aims to reduce burden and boost efficiency while contributing to critical initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, familiarity with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8, and strong Excel skills to analyze financials and prepare reports for Senior Regional Managers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Working knowledge of Affordable programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 encouraged.
• Proficiency in property management systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers.
• Support documentation for capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and budget variance reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financials and AP/AR support.
• Collect, review, and analyze historical income and expense data for properties.
• Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials; maintain records.
• Identify trends and escalated insights to leadership.
• Coordinate and manage travel arrangements and expense reporting.
