Job summary

C.H. Robinson in Plano, TX is seeking an Associate Portfolio Executive to join an accelerated training track and build a customer portfolio.

You will re-engage dormant accounts, cold call opportunities, and focus on relationship development and business expansion within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. You’ll work in-office four days a week with one remote day, benefiting from robust onboarding and development support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months customer engagement experience, internal or external.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Drive the conversion of sales leads into active customers by establishing strong contacts and relationships.
• Proactively engage with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet growth targets.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues while managing conflicts diplomatically.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Reconnect with dormant customers to stimulate demand and renew business.
• Execute pricing strategy using negotiation skills and market knowledge.
• Maintain portfolio momentum by addressing teammates' customers and your own.
