C.H. Robinson Worldwide is recruiting an Associate Portfolio Executive in Chicago to begin a fast-track program learning how to build and manage a customer portfolio.

You’ll re-engage dormant accounts and cold-call new opportunities, focusing on relationship development and business expansion within a supportive framework. During training you’ll gain access to robust technology and an autonomous setup, with daily opportunities to contribute to customer experiences, pricing execution, and process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external; Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the conversion of sales leads into active customers by establishing strong contacts, fostering relationships, and comprehending customer needs to achieve high conversation rate.
• Proactively engage with customers, carrier, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet customer needs and growth targets.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and exceptions while managing conflict diplomatically.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Reconnect with dormant customers to foster relationships and stimulate demand.
• Execute pricing strategy using negotiation skills and market insight.
• Maintain urgency in addressing teammates' customers and your own developing portfolio.
