Job summary

C.H. Robinson Worldwide is seeking an Associate Portfolio Executive in Oakbrook Terrace, IL to learn and build a customer portfolio through an accelerated training track.

You will focus on re-engaging dormant accounts and developing new opportunities, without traditional prospecting, while leveraging our support systems and Navisphere 2.0. After training, you will transition into a Portfolio Executive role, driving service delivery and growth with an emphasis on relationship management,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of customer engagement experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive conversion of sales leads into active customers by establishing strong contacts and understanding needs.
• Engage with customers, carriers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to grow the portfolio.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues diplomatically.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Reconnect with dormant customers to stimulate demand.
• Apply pricing strategy with negotiation and market awareness.
• Maintain urgency addressing teammates' customers and developing portfolio.
