Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Portfolio Executive to start with an accelerated training track focused on building and managing a customer portfolio.

The role centers on re-engaging dormant accounts and cold-calling new opportunities to fuel relationship development and business expansion. In this position you will benefit from a strong onboarding program, autonomy within a broad network, and ample resources to manage a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive the conversion of sales leads into active customers by establishing strong contacts and nurturing relationships.
• Proactively engage with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet growth targets.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and handle exceptions with professional diplomacy.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Reconnect with dormant customers to rekindle relationships and stimulate demand.
• Execute pricing strategy using negotiation skills and market insight.
