Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio. The role reduces administrative burden, enhances efficiency, and supports critical initiatives for property operations and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, with preference for affordable housing experience and strong Excel, data analysis, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Working knowledge of affordable programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Yardi, RealPage) to extract and analyze data.
• Project coordination or project management experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Adaptable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Travel approximately 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and variance reporting.
• Coordinate capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Ensure accurate financials with AP/AR support and reporting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions and presentations.
