Job summary

Apprenti is seeking a Project Manager to support the PMO, directing cross-functional projects to scale operations and improve performance. This role translates strategy into actionable initiatives, manages portfolio intake, and mentors PMO colleagues.

This high-impact position requires governance, strong communication, and change management; you will lead meetings, develop plans, and drive automation initiatives while working in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Project Management/PMO experience, including mentorship of junior staff.
• Experience with PMO governance, methodologies, and reporting structures.
• Professional PM certification (PMP/CAPM) or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Apply PMO methodology, templates, and governance standards across the portfolio.
• Drive cross-functional operational improvement projects from scoping to delivery.
• Manage daily intake and prioritization of Operational Enablement requests.
• Identify process inefficiencies with team leaders and SMEs.
• Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate interdepartmental workstreams and ensure alignment.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
• Document workflows, procedures, and processes for clarity.
• Lead change management initiatives for new processes, tools, and systems.
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow redesign.
• Maintain project documentation and tracking systems; monitor portfolio health.
• Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Specialist to align with PMO roadmap.
• Develop internal reporting and dashboards to evaluate improvements.
