Job summary

Apprenti is seeking a Project Manager to support the PMO, translating strategic objectives into actionable projects and directing portfolio intake and prioritization. You will mentor colleagues, guide PMO practices, and drive cross-functional improvements while maintaining governance across initiatives.

You will lead change, collaborate with leaders, and develop documentation to enhance efficiency, with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in Project Management, PMO, or operational leadership roles.
• Experience mentoring/juniors and working within PMO governance.
• Professional PM or process improvement certifications highly preferred.
• Strong ability to manage portfolios, priorities and resources.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent PMO methodology and governance across portfolio.
• Drive cross-functional improvement projects from scoping to delivery.
• Manage daily intake and prioritization of project requests per governance criteria.
• Partner with leaders to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables.
• Coordinate interdepartmental workstreams and align accountability.
• Facilitate meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
• Document workflows and procedures to improve clarity and efficiency.
• Lead change management plans for new processes and tools.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimize systems usage.
• Maintain project documentation and tracking for transparency.
• Collaborate with CI Specialist to align with the PMO roadmap.
• Assist with internal reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
