Forward Financing is seeking a Group Program Manager - Enterprise PMO to lead the PMO, own governance, and partner with the VP Product to drive strategic initiatives across Engineering, Credit, Fraud, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing.

This remote-first role requires 10+ years in portfolio management, a proven executive presence, and a track record of building scalable PMO operating models in a growth environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program or portfolio management, with at least 3 years in fintech or similar.
• Experience owning the commercial narrative for a portfolio.
• Delivery risk identification across multiple functions.
• Executive presence with CTO/CFO and senior stakeholders.
• Designing or rebuilding a PMO operating model in a growth-stage org.
• Strong financial acumen including ROI framing.
• Proven talent development and growth paths for high performers.
• Lending/payments or broader financial services background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and own how the PMO runs, including intake, governance, tooling, and reporting standards.
• Own portfolio reporting and a single source of truth for leadership.
• Surface systemic execution and delivery risk across multiple functions early.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics to build the roadmap quarterly.
• Own quarterly resource planning and cross-portfolio view across Engineering/Analytics.
• Own the steering committee and portfolio review cadence.
• Own initiative-level budget tracking and benefits realization.
• Manage and develop project managers with coaching and growth paths.
• Leverage AI to automate PMO workstreams.
