Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Leader for Solutions Architecture in the South San Francisco area. You will build and mentor a world-class pre-sales engineering team, align with Sales/Marketing/Product, and drive strategy for upsells and cross-sells across major accounts.

You will engage with executives, foster strong relationships, and represent Stripe at events while shaping product direction with user feedback and market insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in pre-sales leadership and 16+ years in technical sales.
• Proven track record building and leading solution architecture/engineering teams.
• Experience with Enterprise, Digital Native, and SaaS Platform models.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a world-class pre-sales engineering team.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to craft go-to-market initiatives.
• Drive executive engagement and maintain relationships with senior decision makers.
• Represent Stripe at industry events and customer reviews.
• Develop strategies for upsells and cross-sell motions across accounts.
