Stripe is seeking a senior leader to guide its Solutions Architecture team and drive pre-sales strategy for SaaS platforms and payments customers. You will recruit, mentor, and align cross‑functional partners, driving growth through upsells and strategic initiatives across Sales, Product, and Professional Services.

This role emphasizes building trusted executive relationships with customers and internal teams, with travel ~25% and collaboration across Customer Success, Partners, and Product.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pre‑sales leadership experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in a technical sales/consulting/implementation/GTM function
• Track record of building and leading solution architecture/engineering teams in SaaS or usage-based businesses
• Willingness to travel ~25% of the time
• Bonus - SaaS Platform business models experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solutions Architecture team and drive strategy for the segment.
• Recruit, hire, and coach a world-class pre-sales team; advocate for the SAs.
• Align with segment leaders to understand trends and share insights for Stripe’s leadership and product teams.
• Drive upsells, cross-sells, and cosells to grow existing business.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams to develop joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Establish executive relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Represent Stripe at industry events and customer reviews.
