CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to guide cross-functional teams responsible for HR Technology platforms, multi-cloud infrastructure, and internal tools. You will shape strategy, drive delivery, and ensure operational excellence across the software lifecycle.

A proven leader with strong communication, mentoring, and vendor management skills will help optimize costs, security, and reliability while enabling rapid, scalable software delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large software programs with KPI reporting to senior leaders.
• 8+ years leading teams in matrix organizations.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO to influence product development.
• 2+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross-functional software teams.
• 2+ years of experience influencing stakeholders, manage vendor/budget relationships, and translate complex technical strategies for business units.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Platform strategy across portfolios with Architecture and AppDev teams.
• Build and scale internal platforms, self-service tools to reduce cognitive load and improve developer experience.
• Lead CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps to embed security and observability into delivery pipelines.
• Partner with product, architecture, and stakeholders to design scalable, cost-effective technical solutions.
• Mentor teams, manage budgets, vendor negotiations, and resource forecasting.
• Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics while managing cloud costs and compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools into the Platform and software delivery lifecycle.
