Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to drive platform strategy, DevOps excellence, and internal platform development within HR Technology. You will lead multi-cloud infrastructure, ensure reliability, cost optimization, and secure software delivery across teams.

You will mentor engineers, partner with architecture, product, and PMO, and guide initiatives from discovery through deployment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading Technology & Engineering programs.
• 8+ years leading matrix teams.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams.
• 4+ years leading discovery sessions and enablement activities.
• 2+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years influencing stakeholders and managing vendor relationships.
• 2+ years of strong written and verbal communication for executive summaries and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Platform strategy and delivery with Architecture and AppDev teams.
• Build and scale internal platforms, golden paths, and self-service tools.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices with observability.
• Design scalable, cost-effective technical solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams; manage cloud spend and vendor relations.
• Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services into delivery.
