Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader in HR Technology to steer platform strategy, build internal platforms, and drive DevOps excellence across multi-cloud environments. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and SREs, champion automation, security, and cost optimization while delivering scalable HR technology solutions.

The role requires a strong track record in leadership, collaboration with architecture and product teams, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large software programs and teams.
• 8+ years in matrix organizations.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams.
• 4+ years running discovery sessions, workshops, demos, onboarding sessions.
• 2+ years coordinating cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years influencing stakeholders, vendor/budget relationships.
• 2+ years strong written and verbal communication.
• 2+ years mentoring resources.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Platform strategy across portfolios.
• Build and scale internal platforms (IPs), golden paths, and self-service tools.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Partner with product, architecture, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams; manage cloud spend budgets.
• Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics (DORA, deployment frequency, MTTR).
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services into delivery.
