CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to guide multi-cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and internal platforms within HR Technology. You will shape platform strategy, drive reliable delivery, and build high‑performing teams across engineers, SREs, and DevOps professionals.

A successful candidate will prioritize execution, communicate clearly, and accelerate delivery in a fast‑paced environment. Strong engineering skills and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

10+ years leading large software engineering programs with KPI reporting.
8+ years in matrix team leadership and cross-functional influence.
4+ years partnering with architecture, product, and PMO on product direction.
2+ years mentoring resources and driving knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

Define and drive platform strategy across portfolios with Architecture and AppDev teams.
Build and scale internal platforms to reduce developer cognitive load and improve DX.
Lead CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps to embed security and observability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, cost-effective solutions.
Manage teams, budgets, vendor relations, and resource forecasting.
Track metrics (DORA, deployment frequency, MTTR) and cloud cost governance.
Evaluate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services for platform delivery.
