Job summary

Ashby is seeking a curious, rigorous Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to scale our growing infrastructure and ship a reliable, secure platform for our customers. You’ll own projects end-to-end and collaborate with a small, ambitious team to improve developer experience and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js and modern web stacks.
• Strong experience with SQL databases and data modeling (PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines; incident response and monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale Ashby's platform and infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Define and implement SLOs/SLIs with the engineering team.
• Build and maintain canary deployments, feature flags, and safe release processes.
• Design event-driven architecture and data warehouse capabilities.
• Ensure secure, reliable services with retry/circuit-breaker patterns.
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.
