Job summary

Ashby is seeking a curious, rigorous Platform Engineer/SRE to help scale a fast-growing hiring platform used by dozens of notable customers. You’ll own core infrastructure, security, and reliability, partnering with product and engineering to deliver a resilient, developer-friendly platform.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, Postgres and Redis, on a cloud-based AWS stack, with on-call duties and a strong culture of ownership and minimal process.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable platform infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Comfort with infrastructure as code and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Optimize our DSL-to-SQL compiler and build tooling for developers.
• Create automated guardrails for security and data privacy.
• Enable faster feature delivery with canary deploys, feature flags, and controlled rollouts.
