Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will follow SOPs, maintain sterility, and help manage labeling and documentation for efficient center operations.

The role requires basic math, attention to safety, and potential cross-training. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adhere to HSE/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma when needed.
• Verify label accuracy: match pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Maintain sterility using sterile techniques and heat sealers as per SOPs.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures; report issues promptly.
