Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail‑oriented plasma center technician responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and proper storage of donor plasma. You will collect samples, maintain accurate labeling and follow SOPs to ensure product integrity. The role requires sterile technique, temperature monitoring and data entry in the donor management system.

The position emphasizes safety, organization and potential cross-training across areas, with overtime as needed to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months experience in lab or warehouse preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Must follow SOPs, safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOPs.
• Store and label plasma units accurately according to SOPs.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to ensure sterility.
• Pack, ship and complete unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer temperatures and report variances promptly.
• Record donor data in the electronic system as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
