CSL is seeking a plasma center technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, maintaining proper storage, labeling accuracy, and preparing shipping documents while following safety protocols and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilités

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify pre-printed label matches the dynamic label for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and use heat sealer to assure sterility and quality.
• May prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation according to SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report irregularities.
• Conduct daily calibration of equipment per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
