Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and uphold strict SOPs to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities include collecting samples with sterile technique, labeling verification, and helping with packing, shipping, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment. Some overtime may be required, with attention to safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs, including handling unsuitable units.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed per SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues.
