Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail-oriented Plasma Sampling Technician to collect and process donor plasma in a controlled setting. You will maintain sterile techniques, accurately label units, and ensure proper storage and documentation in accordance with SOPs.

The role requires vigilance with temperature monitoring and safety procedures in a fast-paced lab/warehouse environment. The position involves handling plasma units, packing and shipping where required, and occasional cross-training to meet center

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to the freezer to maintain product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs and properly labeled.
• Verify pre-printed label matches the dynamic label for accurate unit identification.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and seal to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues.
