Job summary

Responsibilities include moving plasma units to freezers, monitoring temperatures, completing shipping paperwork, recording donor data, and supporting cross-training as needed. A high school diploma and at least three months in a lab or warehouse are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored per SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma as needed.
• Verify pre-printed label matches the dynamic label to ensure correct unit identification.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of samples per SOPs.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any issues promptly.
