CSL Plasma Center is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician to collect, test, ship and store donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and follow SOPs to ensure product quality.

The role requires basic math, attention to labeling accuracy, sterile technique, temperature monitoring, and adherence to HSE/OSHA policies. Cross-training and bilingual abilities may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Collect plasma samples and move units to freezer to preserve quality.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and handle unsuitable units appropriately.
• Verify labels against dynamic labels to ensure accuracy.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor temperatures and record variances; report issues.
• Calibrate equipment daily per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained; bilingual skills may be required.
