Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail-oriented plasma handling technician responsible for collecting plasma samples, labeling, and ensuring proper storage and shipping for donor plasma. The role requires adherence to SOPs, sterile technique, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor freezer conditions, perform daily equipment calibration, and maintain confidentiality of donor information while following HSE and OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples following SOPs and move plasma units to freezer.
• Ensure proper storage of plasma units per SOPs and manage unsuitable units.
• Verify labeling accuracy against pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Perform sterile technique and seal to maintain sterility.
• Prepare shipping and disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor temperatures of freezers and refrigerators; report variances.
