Job summary

CSL in Lawrence, KS seeks a Plasma Center Support role responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and storage of plasma donated. You will follow SOPs, perform label verification, sterile sample collection, and packaging according to procedures.

The position requires basic math, attention to safety, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Reporting to the Assistant Center Manager, you will help maintain equipment, monitor temperatures, and ensure accurate donor data entry in the center's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs.
• Verify unit labeling matches dynamic label.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility of plasma unit samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report inconsistencies.
• Perform daily calibration of equipment.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
