Job summary

CSL Plasma is hiring for a Plasma Center Technician in Topeka, KS. You will collect plasma samples, ensure proper storage, and verify labeling accuracy while maintaining sterile practices per SOPs.

Responsibilities include shipping documentation, equipment calibration, donor data entry, and safety compliance. A high school diploma and basic math skills are required; prior lab or warehouse experience is preferred, and bilingual abilities may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the organization’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy of unit labeling by verifying labels.
• Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and use heat sealer for sterility and quality.
• May prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report issues.
• Perform daily calibration of equipment.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information system.
