Job summary

CSL is seeking a focused plasma sampling associate in Lawrence, KS to ensure accurate collection, labeling, and storage of donor plasma. You will adhere to SOPs, maintain sterility, and assist with shipping and disposal documentation as needed.

The role requires basic math, attention to labeling accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced center environment while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Training is provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units properly according to SOPs and handle unsuitable units.
• Verify pre-printed vs dynamic labels for accuracy on plasma units.
• Use sterile techniques and heat sealers to assure sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required by SOPs.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and log variances; inform if issues arise.
